LongSHOT™ is a quick, office-based injection therapy technique developed by Dr. Zorn and his team, that is aimed at treating premature ejaculation and helping men prolong their sexual performance.

What is Premature Ejaculation?

Interestingly, premature ejaculation is one of the most frequently reported sexual health concerns among men, affecting approximately 20% to 30% of sexually active individuals.

According to The Urology Care Foundation, premature ejaculation (PE) occurs when ejaculation happens earlier than desired by one or both partners. While some men may last up to 30 minutes during sexual activity, the average time to ejaculation typically ranges from 5 to 7 minutes. Ejaculation occurring in less than this time frame may be classified as premature ejaculation.

Men with an ejaculatory latency time (ELT) of under 1 minute are considered to have "definite" premature ejaculation, while those with ELTs of 1 minute or less are defined as having premature ejaculation.

What are the causes of Premature Ejaculation?

Premature ejaculation can significantly impact a man's confidence and self-esteem, while also impacting their personal relationships.

Dr. Kevin Zorn, a leading Montreal urologist, specializes in diagnosing and treating ejaculatory concerns for men of all ages. At Manova, we recognize that sexual health is a crucial aspect of overall well-being and provide comprehensive treatments to optimize sexual function.

In this episode, Dr. Zorn explains what is considered Premature Ejaculation (PE) as well as what's considered normal when talking about "how long you last during sexual intercourse".

How does the LongSHOT™ work ?

Using a Health Canada approved, hyaluronic-acid based dermal filler is injected into specific areas to help improve resistance and delay ejaculation.

We recommend patients wait 7 to 10 days before engaging in any sexual activity and wear a specially designed silicone sleeve as directed.

LongSHOT™ Process

1

Initial Consultation

An initial consultation is scheduled with the treating urologist to understand the patient's concerns.

2

Procedure

The patient will receive local anaesthesia around the injection area. The injector then administers the hyaluronic acid injections, and then a specialized silicone sleeve is worn for the duration of the treatment.

3

Results

After the 7 to 10 day waiting period, patients see an increased satisfaction level and stronger erections.
